Need a laugh?

Pause the music on the sidebar, turn up your speaker volume, and watch this!

It's sad how Jess and I get our kicks and giggles, but we just couldn't resist! I love Jack's 'before' face. So sweet and innocent!

Jayci was ticked at us for about an hour after this!

(Excuse my apparel)

I sometimes wonder how Jess and I are parents when we haven't 'grown up' yet. We couldn't stop laughing, and still crack up every time we watch them! Poor kids! They'll probably never ride a bike now!

First snowman of the season!

Meet Papa Jack! (Jack named him!)
Today was such a great day! I love Sundays when I can just be with my family and not have to worry about the worldly things that seem to cram the rest of my week! Here's what made my day so special!

this was my view from my kitchen window as I made lunch
I am so thankful for Jess and for how incredible he is as a father! Our kids absolutely adore him, (so do I :)! Jack was so excited for the snow that he ran around in it in his church clothes until we finally convinced him to at least come in to put his snow clothes on.

Ignore the fact that my cute little girl looks like a boy. Jayci doesn't have any snow clothes yet so she wore Jack's old ones. She hated getting them on though! Boy she can throw some good tantrums!

Here they're starting to build a 'temple'!

Jack got bored and decided that the wet slide was more fun...

..leaving Jess to finish it by himself!

Jayci was frustrated that her stroller was so hard to push in the snow!

Here's Jack in the mostly-finished 'temple'!

After snow and lunch, we all took a three hour nap! It was a rare treat, and I enjoyed it a little too much because I'm going to want it more now and my kids rarely cooporate. After naps grandma and grandpa Elies brought us a loaf of hot homemade bread so we made taco soup to go with it! It was perfect for a day like today. We then made cookies to take to Beau (Jack's best neighbor friend) and Lexi (Jayci's little friend) and grandma and grandpa Bruun, and Cramen (as Jack and Jayci would call Cameron!)

Now the kids are in bed and Jess and I have some alone time! What a perfect day!

I just got 2 crowns today. My count is now up to 4! For someone who has never had a crown, 4 is a lot to get in just one year, 3 of which were in the last 3 months. I was just supposed to get one done, but surprise! Apparently I needed a two. At least today wasn't as bad as my last few experiences (see older dental posts--I didn't even write about the worst one at the endodontic where I literally, full-on cried!). I'll tell you what though, 'Friends' is SUPER hilarious when you combine it with laughing gas! I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud because there were 4 hands in my mouth. Anyways, I'll keep this one short because I'm sure everybody is tired of hearing about my crappy teeth. Hopefully it will be a long time before another incident!

So on to another problem, my biggest frustration in life right now is clutter. Not toys or clothes, I can handle putting those away. But the worst is papers! I always seem to have a pile of papers (junk mail, bills, lists, ads, notes, etc) and I just cannot figure out how to keep them under control. I seriously want some feedback on this! How can I keep this crap organized? Has anyone ever read a good self-help organization or cleaning book? Please let me know!
