Precious Time

I apologize for my lack of posting. I found that I spend too much time blogging, and as fun as it can be, I know that it's not the most important thing for me to be doing. I already feel like I'm burried under a mountain of "to-do" lists, taking away from my precious time with my family, yet I find myself watching minutes turn into hours while I plug away on the computer. A friend of mine put this poem on her blog, and it really struck me, so I'll share it with you as a parting note for this post.

Cleaning and scrubbing
can wait till tomorow...

For babies grow up,
we've learned to our sorrow...

So quiet down cobwebs...
dust go to sleep...

I'm rocking my baby,
and babies don't keep.

My mom had this saying on her wall when we were kids. It's too true...the moments really do go by so quickly. You have to cherish them.

I tend to justify my blogging because it usually happen in the late hours of the evening or wee hours of the morning, yet there are other things that I could definitely be doing during that time instead. I will say that it has been so fun to read up on friends and family though.

I love that poem, my mom always used to say it to me and she made me realize how important family is and how quickly this life goes by and that we need to be doing what is MOST important! That is why I haven't updated in quite a while. You are a great mom though!!!!
