I'm not sure why I bother!

I cleaned all my floors really well on Saturday, took me hours!

This is Sunday
(spilled his cheerios, luckily he has only wanted to eat his cereal dry lately! We've been trying to teach him responsibility so Jess made him vacuum his own mess!)

This is Monday
(Here it wasn't so simple. The real mess was all the sticky juice that those pears were in, and it splashed in places that I wouldn't even think possible!)

I love a clean floor. When the hard surfaces are mopped, the rugs fluffed, and the carpets vacuumed, the house just feels so clean and relaxing! I've learned that that's one thing I've had to sacrifice as a mom with young kids; my floors just don't stay clean for very long!
-Brit, I sympathize with you! (Except yours was worse!)

P.S. Thanks Jenna for fixing my seemingly simple problem on my blog!

Ha-thats cute! I have given up on a clean house so long ago. I feel like as long as my kitchen and living room are clean, then I am happy. In fact, that is what I should be doing right now instead of blogging!! Your kids are adorable!!

I think that it's cute that you are teaching him to clean up his own messes. I sometimes struggle with patience in having Jaden do this because I'm so much faster.

I've decided I'm mopping my floors once a week (sweep as needed) & that is it. That way I don't feel crazy & like I always need to get it done.

I have been forgetting to say that I am sorry about your grandpa. I only heard the best of things about him.

Thats funny, I thought those were chips, not pears...pears are definitely worse. Once I get my house clean I take Lily out of the house instantly just so the house can feel clean for a minute

I can seriously relate. If you want a clean floor, you have to become a wench and badger everyone to death about keeping it clean, and then sweep and mop all the time on top of it! And I'm sorry about the dentist. I hope you don't have to go for a very, very long time now.
