~Rainy Day~

It's been raining all day and we we were all tired of being cooped up. Jess had dinner plans with his good friend so I did what any good mother would do: let my toddlers run around in the cold rain and get soaking wet! The kids were more excited to get out their umbrellas than they were on Christmas morning. Of course I was right behind them snapping away under my own umbrella. (I really did cut out a ton of pictures. There just too many cute ones to choose from!)

Going for a walk to see Grandma and Grandpa,

and checkin out all the worms along the way.

Almost there!

We certainly couldn't skip out on the puddle-jumping!

Always so curious to taste everything....

....and never far behind.

This is when I decided it was time to go in. Despite all they're warm clothes, they were soaked!

We ended the night with a warm bath...

...and leftover birthday cake.

Breaking the rules every now and then is necessary to make great memories!!!

Looks like your camera was worth it. you got some great shots. I especially love that you can see the raindrops falling into Jack's mouth and their umbrellas are too cute!

How fun to be within walking distance of grandma and grandpa. I'm jealous! :)
