Is anyone else a list freak like me? Especially when going on trips!
This UEA we decided on a trip to Moab, a first for the kids.

This is taken right before mine and Jayci's slightly dramatic freak out, when I asked her not to go in the mud....but somehow she ended up there, with both shoes so stuck they fell off. So who had to go in the deep, squishy mud to retrieve the stuck shoes and screaming child? Yep, me. In my sandals. Not my greatest mom moment.
These pictures crack me up. The top one, Jess is telling Xander to look at him, and he's obviously being stubborn. The bottom one, Xander just sort of rolled his eyes up to peek but kept his head down.
Sanddune Arch was definitely the favorite "hike" (two minute walk) and highlight of the trip for the kids. They played there for almost 2 hours.
Xander's infamous "cheese" face.
Our dinner stop at Milt's, a delicious hometown burger joint.
Our final stop: Dead Horse Point. I'll tell you what, if you want to get your heart racing and give yourself an anxiety attack, take your small children to Dead Horse Point! :) It was so breathtaking and beautiful, but I forbade my children to let go of my hands, and Xander just had to deal with throwing a fit in dad's arms since he desperately wanted to run around and NOT hold onto anyone or anything. Very gorgeous, but my heart was glad to leave!

On the Monday after our weekend trip we were still out of school but nobody was feeling 100% so the kids and I had a fun day to ourselves. I took them to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh
(Xander obviously loved it)
Followed by a trip to Discovery Park, which Xander really did love.
Jack was so good to Xander while we were there. He held his hand and took him exploring. Melts my heart!
Now that her hands are good and calloused (see previous camping post) she was ready for more!
We then spent our afternoon quietly playing in the basement. This picture makes me happy! I love them, and really love when they all play well together and get along!
