A Lost Battle

We attempted errands today. There are definitely times when I ask myself if the need is greater than the stress. If not, it's just not worth it. Such was the case today as i walked into the store carrying one crying child and dragging the other screaming one, trying not to make eye contact with all the onlookers who were most likely wondering if they knew the number to child and family services by heart. Needless to say, we walked in, turned around, walked out and drove home. Now the only sound I hear is the keyboard as my little ones are in dreamland. Phew!

Don't you just love all the stares and comments that random people give you to tame your child. I feel ya it happens about every day!

Totally been there, although I usually stick it out and come home ready to cry. ANYTIME you want to do errands kid free, give me a call, if I'm home I'd love to watch them for you. Seriously. 801-836-7287

I feel your pain!!! There's nothing that gets my blood racing more than my kids acting up when we are out and about. It's so stressful! Fortunately they grow and and you can negotiate a deal a little bit more.

I can't count how many times I've said that we should be getting paid for motherhood. It's the most exhausting job on the PLANET!

That totally makes me laugh. Mostly because I have been caught in that same situation many times! I like to think that most people out there have been there and done that and understand. espeacially if they are moms themselves.
