....is Two today! It really is hard for me to believe that two years have gone by already! Jayci came to our family as a complete but happy surprise, and I couldn't imagine things happening any differently now. The Lord knew that she needed to come to our family when she did, ready or not, and we Love her to bits and pieces. She evened the score, and has filled our house with personality.
I really don't want to spend her birthday on the computer, but I want to document a few of her favorites as of now.
- Favorite color: Pink of course!
- Favorite food: that's a tough one. I'd have to say 'treats'! Like her mama, she loves her sweets! And fruit.
- Favorite book: Fancy Nancy!!!! Every time we go in her room she wants to read "Mancy Mancy".
- Favorite activity: there's alot. Whether it's reading by herself or being read to, she LOVES books! (Also like her Mama). She loves to be outside to explore her curiosity. She loves to run! Never sits still! Loves baths. Loves to play with Jack. Loves to play with her cousins. Loves to swing. Loves to go for walks in the stroller, but doesn't want to sit in it for very long, which make our walks very long! Loves to hide from me with her binkies since she's only supposed to have them in bed. Loves to count and sort her binkies. Loves to suck her binkies. Did I mention she LOVES her binkies?! Loves to visit Grandparents (and usually prefers them over me). Loves to talk, talk, talk, and talk!
- Favorite Song: 'I Am A Child of God' (she can sing you ALL four versus) and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' (3 versus). She loves to sing and be sung to, and she won't go to sleep at night until we sing songs together.
- Favorite Movie: Lots of favorites, but recently has been choosing Cinderella alot.
- Drink of choice: Water.
- She's a total Mama's girl, and girly girl, but still adores her papa and brother!
- She has four new teeth coming in, and has still been extremely happy!
- When she was a baby she was called a 'rosebud' baby by some of the ladies in the ward, and when she lost the little hair that she had people told me (and I agreed) that she looked just like a cabbage patch doll with her beautiful pale skin and big blue eyes!
- She's very concerened when people are hurt. There's a part in 'Fancy Nancy' where Nancy slips and falls. When we get to that part Jayci always is very concerened for her and says things like, "Oh No! Mancy Mancy fall down! She needs a ban-aid!"
- She pats my back when I hold her, and I LOVE it!
- She still loves to get dirty, and is the messiest eater I've ever seen!!!!
- I love her hair!
- She had to wear preemie clothes for a few weeks because she was such a tiny newborn.
- She's a natural nurterer. She's going to love having a baby in the house (someday) to be a Mommy to! (NOT an announcement :)
- She has all of us wrapped around her little finger. She's a lucky girl to be loved by so many!!!

Happy Birthday Jayci!!
YEAH HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYCI!!!!
Oh so cute. They seriously grow so fast. Before you know it, she'll be turning 4. So much you said about her is exactly like Lauren. Lauren loves Fancy Nancy and Pink. And Lauren wore primie cloths too because she was so small (still is small for her age). I love this post! She is adorable.
She is seriously so adorable! You guys have the cutest family!
Happy Birthday Jayci! I love the first picture of her. She is darling!!!
What a cute post of our pretty. She is so sweet I just love her little voice when she says "Hi Jeeny "
All FOUR versus of I Am a Child of God! We are in the nursery...and don't know of anyone at age 2 that can do that. I'm impressed.
She is a doll.
I don't know about you but I always have such mixed emotions when it comes to my kid's birthdays. It just makes me realize how fast the time is flying by. Sometimes the day to day of being a mom seems like it will never end but the years truly do fly by.
How cute that she already loves fancy nancy. You can tell that she is such a joy in your home. Happy Birthday little Jayci!
