This evening I layed on the couch with a headache while Jess read the kids bedtime stories. All of the sudden my sweet, sensitive Jack got up and came over to me. Here's our conversation:
Jack, as he's walking over to me: "Let's make Momma feel better."
He then climbed on the couch with me and snuggled for a minute. Mmmm, my favorite!
Jack: "Do you want a blanket Momma?"
Me: "Sure!"
Jack ran to his room and yelled, "Do you want a big one?"
Me: "Yes please."
Excitedly running with a BIG blanket dragging behind him: "Here you go, IT'S BLUE!"
He covered me to the best of his abilities, then grabbed a couch pillow.
"Here's a pillow for you Momma."
He placed it under my head for me, then put his face right in mine and quietly said, "I love you", kissed my lips and went back to reading with dad.
You know what? I do feel better!

Oh, how sweet. Don't you wish you could bottle that feeling he gave and keep it forever. What a sweet moment. That makes all the work part of being a mom totally worth it.

He has such a tender heart just like his Daddy. Jess was the sweetest little boy. Always concerned and caring for others. A little sweetie. Love ya! Give the monkeys a hug for us!

Jack is such a cute boy! Im so glad Mason has at least one boy to play with Haha! And Jayci is such a sweetheart! I just want to squeeze her! Im so glad we have become friends and gotten to know each other better!
