Christmas Festivities-Part Two

Polar Express Christmas
This year Grandma Kristy and Grandpa Rick got the kids an early Christmas present and sent our family on the Heber Valley Railroad for their annual North Pole Express train ride, formerly called the Polar Express.  It still followed the Polar Express story line and took us to the "North Pole" while enjoying the train ride complete with jammies, cookies, hot chocolate, stories and carols, elves, even Mr and Mrs C!

If you know Jack at all, you know that 'obsessed' is an understatement for how much he loves trains.  This is a passion I though most little boys are born with and eventually grow out of but Jack just seems to love them even more with the more exposure he gets to them.  We hadn't even started to move and he was thrilled and fascinated just to be sitting in his seat.

Jayci was bouncing all over the place, trying to climb over seats and run down the aisle until we busted out 'Fancy Nancy's Splendiferous Christmas' and she became a new child!

When Mrs. Clause approached Jayci and Jess (who were sitting on the seat behind me and Jack), the first words that came out of Jayci's mouth were, "My name's Jayci.  I have short hair.  This is my daddy.  He has no hair."  I guess that was pretty vital information to her since it preceded any sort of 'hi' or 'hello'.  It gave us all a good laugh!
And here's the awesome Heber Valley version of Santa Clause!
The kids LOVED it, and Jess and I loved that it wore them out enough to actually put them to sleep in the car ride home, something that rarely happens with our kids.
Many thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for giving us this fun experience!

Looks like it was a night full of fun and some happy memories were made. Jaci has such a funny and blunt little personality, ha ha, the hair comment was a good laugh for me.

Looks like a good time for them. Love Jayci's cute expressions, I miss them in nursery. Jack looks so much like your brothers Jill-wow!
