4 Months

This past Tuesday (July 19) Xander turned 4 months.  

I know I sound like a broken record when I say that I can't believe how fast it has gone!  Where does time go?  And in such a hurry!

This boy is the BEST BABY.

EVER.

As of right now his schedule looks a little something like this:

7 PM bedtime

Sleep until about 5-6 AM

Eat

Sleep until about 8 AM

Eat

Smile, coo, kick, jabber time

Sleep from about 10-11

Eat

More smiley, happy, wiggle time

Afternoon nap #1

Bedtime at 7

We aren't on a specific schedule yet, but he pretty consistently takes three naps a day, sleeps most through most of the night, and eats every three hours (about 5-6 feedings a day).   He mostly fusses when he's hungry or wants to be held.  He loves to just lay on the floor on his back and look around.  His head is starting to get flat because this is his favorite way to be.  He tolerates tummy time for a few minutes at a time, but that's all!   Often he'll lay for so long that he'll just fall asleep without a peep.

Recently he's taken an interest in his binky when it's in his mouth.  He's mastered pulling it out but has yet to successfully put it back in by himself.  I love watching him try, it's the cutest!

Height:

Weight: 16.1 lbs (75%)

Head:

He had a rough time with his shots that evening.  So sad!  His legs were so tender that I couldn't even touch them without him crying.  

His routine shower with dad calmed him down though and he was able to sleep well.

What a blessing he is.  We seriously can't get enough of him!!!
