~Flash Flood~

Utah County got a flash flood warning today and within minutes our street was a river.  Jack and I started out with just a barefoot umbrella walk which quickly turned into ditching the umbrellas and just jumping right in.  We were joined by Jayci, who woke up from her nap, then by the friends across the street, and eventually by bikes and scooters.  We love free, unexpected fun!

They just don't come much cuter than this!

Sadly, it was gone as quickly as it came but it was a blast while it lasted!

I love the one of jack wheeling it out of the gutter, his face is so cute, and that guy holding the most adorable baby ever and the umbrella, awesome, ya you got some great picts.

I didn't realize how much Xander looks like Jack when I was there. He's so cute with his chubby little cheeks.

It is so true that the simple things in life bring the greatest pleasures to children-something we forget and take for granted sometimes.

I totally remember doing this when I was a kid, and riding a bike through the water felt so cool. Glad you enjoyed it!

Would it make you laugh to know I got all teared up looking at these pictures. I LOVE that there are still so many kids in that neighborhood. Seeing that street that I grew up on for 18 years and the pics of your kids in the rain brings back MANY childhood memories that are treasures to me. I am glad that the same things are still goin on. Your family is too cute! Glad you guys got to enjoy the rain ;)
