Little Alexander was blessed on a gorgeous June Sunday. On June 5, 2011 we gathered with our immediate family for the special occasion. The weather was perfect, the blessing was beautiful, the spread for brunch was divine!

I have memories of chaos and stress when we blessed Jack and Jayci. I wanted things to be different this time. My goal was to feel calm and peaceful and to be able to soak in the beauty of the ordinance and time with family. I simplified, delegated, and simplified. I only invited immediate family, and while I did miss getting to see everyone, I know they all understood my reasons and the real reason for the occasion. And I assigned myself drinks so I could enjoy bathing and dressing my baby before church, instead of cooking!
Here's a bazillion pictures that I don't feel like sorting or editing right now. Someday I'll sort through them, as for now....
(Andrew and Jen, I don't know how we missed you in all these pictures! You must have left before I got the camera out??)

What sweet pictures of your cute family. Three kids suits you Jill! ;-)
What a special day. I'm so glad you figured out a way to make it more about the purpose of the day and less stressful, I'll have to do the same when our next comes around. The pictures are so sweet, all the cousins playing and your baby boy is too precious, love those cheeks!
